Question MSPNP version for 91 Miata with 96 engine

Hello, been trying to determine which version of the MSPNP I should buy for my specific setup.
I have a '91 with a 1.6 currently in it. I also have a 1.8 from a '96 I am going to install into it. The '96 engine came with the engine harness still on it but missing the coil pack. My plan is to do a turbo install + Coil on plug and Standalone all at once. I've figured out all the parts I need except which standalone due to the differences from 94 through 96. I know a 96 has a 3 connector ECU due to OBD2. I'd rather use the 96 Engine harness over the 1.6 harness due to the minor differences in cam placement and the 4 wire coil plug, also makes the general install easier.

So will the '96-97 MSPNP work fine with the '91 Body harness + '96 engine harness? Or do I have to buy the '94 MSPNP and then repin the engine harness for the '96 layout? I know worst case I can just build my own harness or reuse the 1.6 harness, but without having all the parts in front of me its hard to compare.

ecu always goes by chassis / engine loom.
You will not use the 96 engine loom. You'll adapt / add wiring to your 91 engine loom for the new setup, like sequential injection.
