Default Oil burn after long idle.

Recently Ive noticed if im idling for longer periods 4+ minutes, as soon as I pull off ill smokescreen the town in blue oil smoke. Which takes a bit to finally resolve. I get burning oil under full boost and high rpm of course, and a small puff under long coasts or high rpm coasting.
obviously this motor needs a little love.

mostly just wondering if when it comes out, will new rings and valve stem seals clear these up completely assuming done right?

I never get oil burning on first startup. Just a little concerned about the idling issue. Wet and dry compression numbers are 30+ psi difference.

my turbo drain goes from the fm-ish turbo location down as straight as I can to under the ac compressor bracket (which has been cut to get the drain a bit higher) 3/8” line.

3/8" ID? So only -6? Minimum is typically 1/2" (-8), but many of us try for 5/8" (-10), and some even going to 3/4" (-12). First thing I'd do is change that to -10 and see if it makes any difference. Then start looking at crankcase pressure, turbo health, etc.

Sounds like classic valve stem seals to me. Pretty easy to confirm if you ever have the IM or turbo off with a boroscope cam.

im full of ****, its a 3/8 npt - 5/8 hose barb and hose. Also 2 catch cans but atm the valve cover breather is just a line going up and around the valve cover to atmosphere. Some scrubbers in the valve cover baffle on the pcv side.

ive had both off, the intake manifold was gunked up a ton when i had it off to remove the butterflies. Its all clean now bc an injector got stuck open and cleaned it all with ethanol. The turbine has a ton of white residue on it and in the housing from burning oil, havent had the exhaust manifold off real recently so i cant remember that side.

Typically what I'd look for are the valves themselves to see if they are wet. Something like this:

That's an exhaust valve with a leaky valve stem from my car. results in a bit of smoke once you are back on the gas after extended time in vacuum, but no smoke under WOT or track conditions.

When i had bad valve stem seals, it would smoke on startup and every time I lifted and pulled vacuum.
