Default wastegate control

Hey guys I'm sure this has been covered before, but I haven't been here in quite a while. I know there are problems with the canister for the wastegate on the greddy turbo. What do you guys replace it with that is more reliable and a somewhat easy swap? Mine is continuing to develop boost spike and some boost creep. Thanks for any info you guys can give.

I don't believe I've heard of the Greddy guys replaced their wastegate actuators very often. What boost target are you shooting for?

it's been covered that they suck....but i dunno if anyone has gone as far as replacing them.

the main thing it they cant hold the boost, a helper spring usually "cures" the problem.

Try getting one off a DSM and making it fit. You can cut the rod, bend it if needed, and tap the new ends and use a joiner. I'm surprised someone hasn't done this already. DSM spring on a 1G is about 7psi and they hold 20+psi with a boost controller.
