Default Help: Installing now, airbox location question.

With the stock piping from the greddy kit it seems like the master cylinder is really in the way of where the airbox wants to go. How is this thing supposed to get into the upper corner of the engine bay?

by airbox I'm assuming you mean Air Flow Meter. the filter fits to the right of the master cylinder resivoir, with the AFM right behind it obviously

You must bend a brake line in order for it to fit. Its a very tight fit and you will probably have some vibration in the brake pedal afterwards due to the AFM assembly pushing against the master reservoir. I put a piece of foam underneath the AFM and between it and the master brake reservoir.

Oh and the reason its in the way is because the GReddy kit is actually for a right hand drive car.

I ended up having to take off the cruise control (which would probably have needed some sort of fix to work anyway) because that was in the way. And then we were able to shoehorn it in up there.

Yeah it's a pretty tight squeeze. I cursed a lot toward the end of my install.
