Default COP Success!

I've had the parts for I dunno...2-3 months or so but I finally got around to installing them today. Went to a local miata guy and picked up a spare set of coils to use the connector. Cutting through that epoxy is a pain in the ***. After I soldered the wires to the old coil connectors, I re-epoxied. Wires going to the coil connectors are expoxied as well.

Took about 3hrs to get everything wired up nice. Still havent fabbed a hold-down for it but that should take all of 20 minutes. Started right up on the first crank!

I guess the F/IC doesnt seem to mind them at all. Havent gone for a real "ride" yet b/c the COP's would probably jump around too much and freak me out.

Thanks Braineack for the write-up.

quick pic:

underside of the "bracket" has dense foam stuff. I welded a 14mm bolt to the top of the 10mm valve cover bolt, fastened on the "bracket" with a 14mm bolt and a rubber bushing
