Is the stud too short or the flange too thick?
So the flange is slightly less than 1" thick. I attached another pic from another perspective.
The inventory checklist shows DP studs as 30mm x 1.25 x 8 which is what I received and is pictured in the photo.
The flange isn't flat either. It rocks back and forth on a glass slab and turbine. Looks like it must not have been machined down.

Thats the begi S pipe guys, if its not that thick the wastegate flapper doesnt have enough room to open.
When I got that pipe I had to go hunt for larger studs. I think I wound up using 45mm ones and The bolts dont even thread on completely.
Yea, I had quite an excursion with their pipes. First one hit the coolant line, hit the transmission and the lowerbolt wouldnt thread on because it was to close to the pipe. The second one worked.

No no.
The pipe is not the problem, thats the normal flange that comes with the Begi S. The pipe does not come with studs, the turbo you have comes with studs but they are too short for their enlarged flange. If you want longer studs to work with that pipe they charge for em.
Btw, the begi S pipes flange design is identical to the downpipe on a WRX. Found out by accident, was surprised.

My BEGI downpipe had no hardware when I got it, it was supposed to. Stephanie sent it out after I informed them they were missing. I sourced my turbo elsewhere.
As far as I know they include hardware with the DP and the manifold.

For the Divorced DP this is what BEGI says:
and the BEGI S
So ya, if they say it should come with the hardware it should. And it should fit. The OP has a valid complaint.
The two piece downpipe comes with turbine outlet mounting hardware, cross bolt, and O2 sensor bung plug.
