Default I fail at fueling

ok i know im new here but i have built a 92 miata 1.6 with td05 -16g turbo and when under full throtle boost the afrs read 15-17 at 5-6 peak pounds of boost i want to be at 10 or so ,so i bought a vortech fmu and put it on and allmost bottom out the screw and still 13.8 - 14.8 so then i bought injectors 460cc put them in and backed out the screw all the way on fmu and still wouldnt idle or boost way to rich read 10 or less on afrs so then i put stocks back in and ran good but remaned the same afrs on boost so then i bought a ajustable pressure regulater hoping to drop fuel pressure at idle so i can use 460 injectors so car will run . need some fittings still but my question is what type of fuel manage ment are you guys using on your turbo set ups

90% of all people on this site are using, or in the process of getting a megasquirt, just so we dont have to do deal with the bandaids. save some money and to get a MS and call it a day, you def. wont regret it.

I have a solution to all of your problems. First, go 10x so you calm the **** down and start using proper punctuation and stuff. Second, please make your first post in the NOOB section instead of jacking somebody else's thread. Third, after you've made your NOOB post, read the FAQ's on the site and everything will be much clearer. You'll also realize that the stock ECU could have never idled those 460's.

Mild, If you don't want to sell anything to me for whatever reason, that's fine. If you want to buy anything that I have for sale, I have no problems selling to you. If I didn't post what I did, then somebody else would have. We have a pretty good community here and everyone tries to weed out the good noobs from the bad noobs. Good noobs search and read the FAQs before posting. They also make a quick "intro post" in the NOOB section. It also helps everyone if you post your location in your profile and your Miata setup in your signature.

In regards to your question regarding Fire's comment, your knowledge of afr is a bit sketchy is all he was saying. You definitely don't want 15-17 afr's under boost. It seems like you realize this and that is why you tried the afpr. However, aiming for an afr of 10 is bad too. I don't think that anyone tunes for lower than 11.5:1 with 12:1 being the norm around here.

You fail miserably. Still can't spell, still no punctuation. And how the **** do you figure just jumping into someone's thread without a single prior post, completely jacking the thread, then posting completely wrong info and getting help from people? Geez

Well the the last i checked this was a turbo forum and not a spelling bee or grammar test....and i was going to post my intro after i got some pics of my car but working 10 hours a day 6 days a week and trying to figure out my fuel management problem doesnt leave much time to do these things .Sorry I will do so soon. Im Sorry if i ruined someones thred i thought this was the topic it was about

Anyway i know that i want to see 11-11.5 afr under boost .
With stock injectors and vortech fmu turned all the way up ,my idle is fine but under boost afr reads 13.8-14.9 at 5lbs of boost is too lean ..
My goal is to run 10 lbs of boost, So from my research i need bigger injectors.
So i bought 460cc and installed them and turned the fmu down so it wouldnt be to rich. Result was rough idle and was reading 10 afr is to rich so i took them out and installed the stock ones back in so i could drive home.
I stoped by a friends house that builds 1400hp vipers and supras and is well known in town for doing turbo set ups and he said that if i put a ajustable fuel pressure regulater and aced (to throught away or remove) the stock presure regulator that i should be able to drop fuel presure enough to run the 460cc injectors at idle and use the fmu to increase fuel fressure under boost and the car should run fine. If it comes to it ill run a aem computer or megasquirt (aem is what my friend uses on those big hp cars that he builds)
I was looking for someone elses experiences that they had or advice..

Well to properly "talk miata's" as you put it, you first need to properly know the English language. This coming from a ******* immigrant, you should be that much more ashamed.

*edit - Wtf is this bullshit you tried posting in my profile? " i remember my first beer...*****" is that supposed to be some lame *** joke or your retarded attempt at flaming me? Have fun getting banned, I hope they block your IP

Hey Zom Zoom. I have some RX7 550 high impedance injectors that I don't need. They are not compatiable with my FM/Kink ECU. The part number is 195500-1370.
Let me know if you are interested. I can have to you overnight via Aus Post express.

ps are you sure about the part number you quoted. Could it be 19550-2010?

If they are s5 550's (oval not rectangular) they should work with the Link.

Dude, if you can't take the time to write somthing that's readable, why should we take the time to read it? The better you write, the clearer your problem becomes, and the more detailed and specific the answers will be. YOU should take an interest in writing clear questions so you get clear answers.

As for your questions...
You know enough about Miata turbo'ing to find injectors that fit.
You know enought to find and install a Vortech, and tune it.
You know how to read a wideband and what the numbers mean.
You know how an AFPR works, how to install and tune that.
You seem to have a good grasp of turbocharging and the inherent difficulties.

BUT YOU DON'T KNOW enough to look on the main forum page for the Meagasquirt Forum or the E-Manage Forum... and you don't know how to use the SEARCH Key. And you're clearly not smart enought to look into the Vendor Forum and visit their websites to see what they have for sale???

Sounds like a typical troll. Make a post just intelligent enough to spark interest but just dumb enough that the board has an argument, then act like it's all our fault for trying to help just because you didn't like the manner of helping.

Just for future reference. When you join a forum, it's customary to make your FIRST EVER POST in the NOOB forum... we call it Meet&Greet. Introduce yourself, your car, your goals, etc... That way we know you're legit. Then before you make any more posts, read all the stickys in every forum, go to the Vendor's websites, use GOOGLE, use the search key... THIS IS ALL VERY COMMON AND BASIC FORUM ETIQUETTE. Forums weren't invented yesterday, so you should know this ****. You're more than welcome to start over... just make your next post in the right place, say the right things, and earn some respect. Then you won't get **** on EVEN if you do ask dumb questions. Put away your ego and this board will be your oyster.

Engine management common choices in no order:
Megasquirt
Link
Emanage
Tec
AEM
Voodoo
Bandaids AFPR+Bipes
Hydra
Xede
SAFC

your friend that builds 1400hp vipers and supras is a ******* retard if he told you to remove your FPR. Remove the FPR and the car will "run fine" with 460's LOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL Thanks for the laugh.

turn down the boost, then turn it up slowly until you are at the limit. stay fatter than 12.5:1 up top. 16psi on a FMU is retarded.

Wrong bitch, check again. Now spell Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious mother ******. Once you do that you can get on to talking Miatas.

Seriously, get Firefox. It has an inline spell check, but unfortunately no stupid check.
