Turbo Question
I have a rebuilt IHI VJ-11 turbo here off a Mazda MX6 that I am looking to install on my Mazda Miata 1.6 DOHC, what is the danger of blocking off the coolant/water lines with bolts and running the turbo as oil cooled only.
I dont have the water lines/fittings/banjo bolts etc for the turbo currently and really dont want to bother with them if possible.
Your input is welcome.

What is wrong with asking the same question on 2 different Miata forums? It is not like I am posting twice in different groups on the same forum?
Would you not ask 2 different mechanics about an issue you were having on your car for instance? I am not trying to be rude, just asking.
