ok ive been looking at either getting megasquirt or e-manage so i can tune my car. it is running 8lbs with 1.8 injectors and the msd timing control unit it is a base greddy kit with upgraded ic piping and large fmic and greddy type s bov. i have a freing who has a greddy emanage ultimate that was installed in his 240 he just bought it is tuned for his car but he doesnt want it so he is gunna sell it to me for 400. as far as i know all it would be is the e-manage unit itself and id still have to wire it up to my car. is that a worth it cost? were can i get the cd needed to tune it?what else would i need along with it to tune my car i know i could use someone elses maps if someone else is running the same setup as i am.please help before i buy i dont wanna get screwed.

try searching the for sale section, or google, or ebay to find out what they are going for. I got my emu for close to that price but it can be had for a bit cheaper. You will still be needing to by the harness, pressure sensor, wideband, and maybe some other ****. Do some reaserch before you get this. My emu setup is close to finished, and now I wish I had built a megasquirt

 

I am an Emanage set it and forget it guy; but were it my decision at this point it would be Megasquirt.

 

If you want an emanage ultimate I have an EMU, pressure sensor, AEM wideband, and a boomslang harness for a 2001-2005 (I think) that you can get for $450. I had it on my MSM and the mazdaspeed miata does not like EMU.

 

well yours is for the wrong year mine is a 91. if it is compatible if you will hold it untill september ill buy yours.

 

Just the wiring harness is not compatible. I'm in no hurry. If I still have it let me know if you are interested. I may put it on ebay soon, I need to clean out the garage.

When I say I'm in no hurry that means I am not actively trying to sell it. If a sell comes up, I will sell it. I'm not inclined to hold it.
