Default Cams... can you help identify these?

When i bought my GTX motor about a year ago i also bought a Escort GT head that the guy also had. He said the head had a set of Gude cams. im not sure is there a way to tell if these are aftermarket or stock? i dont really see anything on them that says Gude. i never seen a stock BP cam so im not sure. One friend looked and said they seem to be aftermarket because they are hollow but i dont know if this is a sure sighn that they are stock. the letter Z is stamped on them and some numbers like 50 or 60? i dont want to take it apart but i may have to... what do you guys think?

If I remember right, the majority of the early BP cams (EGT, Pro, Miata, GTX/R) were hollow. I know all seven sets of mine are.

Also, if memory serves, Gude cams were ground from factory blanks, and may not have any identifying marks on them, other than what the blanks were (BP26 or BP05/BP06). Measure the lift and such, I'm sure the specs for those cams are out there. PM srad2drag on CP, he has them in his EGT.

like matt said, get a micrometer and measure it. can be done on the car and if you cant find the manufacturer, at least you can compare it to other aftermarket cams out there.
