Does it really make a difference if 1/4 and 2/3 are connected backwards like shown below?

1/4 to brown (IN), white (OUT)

2/3 to yellow (IN), puprle (OUT)

 

Yes....

The emanage takes the signal from the stock ecu, then depending on the maps will modify the signal going to the coils. So.... yeah, it makes a difference which way you wire them. Also you wouldn't want 1/4 spark going to a 2/3 cylinder.... <G>

You can swap the 1/4 vs. 2/3 so long as both the inputs and outputs are swapped equally. IOW, 1/4 can go to yel / vio and 2/3 to brn / wht.
