hey guys i have a 99 miata... got the emanage blue installed and am trying to tune. when i open the support tool it says im online but i cant load any ones map to start as a base map. Under help it says all the version numbers except the emanage version. all lights are good to go on the emanage. The cable they sent along with the software didnt connect to my laptop so i got a serial to usb cable to work in conjunction with the cable they sent. all drivers are installed.... is that what you guys did? Anyway feedback is appreciated.

 

First thing you need to do, is check the com ports. Make sure you set the usb to serial, that is com 1 through 4 (the EM software I don't think will do virtual ports), then set the software to the same one.

You might have to play with the speed for the adapter as well, you can try setting it down to 9600.....
