Frackin' appendicitis.
I just got my ******* appendicitis taken out. I woke up with the most excruciating pains I've ever felt. It felt like I was getting stabbed. So I had my mom drive me to urgent care (lol) and I got the ******* CT scans. But best of all, I got the best ******* painkiller I ever got, and was sent off to the ER off my face on painkillers.
Was removed last night at around 7, and let's just say I don't react well to being knocked out. As I was waking up it took 4 people, one at each corner, to restrain me as I thrashed around like a bitch. And now I'm sitting here, off my face on Vicoden and playing Donkey Kong 64.
It took me about 4 attempts to write each word, so you ******* better appreciate it.
That is it.

"appendicitis" is inflamation (itis) of the appendix, you did not have your appendicitis removed, you had your appendix removed. Just clarifying that. And were you sent to the ER or OR?
Congrats on a successful surgery though. Think of it this way, free weight loss. (your insurance covered it, yes?)

Just looked at the pictures and talked to the doc. I didn't have appendicitis. My appendix had somehow attached itself to the back wall of my... something. Basically, anytime I moved, it would pull and rip, which is what caused the pain. I'll see if I can get pics up.

Had mine done two years ago. I was in St. Louis on business. Woke up at 3:00 in pain. Got online and diagnosed myself. Went to the emergency room at 6:00am (drove myself). On the table at 8:00 after MRI. That was a Thursday. Took two Tylenol on Thursday at noonish and that was it for the next 36 hours. Saturday morning drove myself home - 7 hour trip. Took two more Tylenol before the drive and that did it for meds. Back to work Monday morning. It was a non-event.
