I had a tripe taco from the local taqueria a few weeks ago. A bit chewy, but flavorful.

I am, in all seriousness, starting to believe that the Dynamic Duo of Vladimir Putin & Dmitry Medvedev may simply continue alternating between terms as President and Prime Minister for the rest of their natural lives, thus effectively resurrecting the institution of the Monarchy in Russia.

Cliffs:

In Russia, the President can only serve two consecutive terms, but may be re-elected to as many non-consecutive terms as the people wish.

Putin was President from 2000-2008, with Medvedev as his First Deputy Prime Minister.

Medvedev was elected president in 2008, largely because he promised to install Putin as Prime Minister. He served from 2008-2012.

Now, Putin has been re-elected as President, and guess who his Prime Minister is? Medvedev.

Also, the length of the presidential term has just been increased from four years to six.

Lather, rinse, repeat.
