Cas reinstallation - help...

Cas reinstallation - help...
Just been playing around with my M tuned Reroute. Will retro fit it to my new motor in a day or so.
In the meantime I have removed the CAS to check wiring etc but want to put it back for a few days.
My question is, Can you put the cas in upside down or does it not matter?
(Not ACTUALLY upside down but the little tab that connects to the cam).
Reason I ask is that I swear it wont go in one way and only the other. Which just happens to be opposite to what I made a note of the positioning of the spinning tab thing....(sounds unco but I have no idea what to call that part...
)
