As far as I can tell the only difference between miatas front rotors and 99+ mr2 rotors is the overall depth. The overall depth is 1mm off according to autozones site. Napa shows that it's the same except the depth is 0.08" difference in height. Would the 1 mm or 0.08 affect anything if I use it on my miata?
I know it's a stupid question. Why not just run miata rotors? Push that aside and let me know if I could run this rotor without any issues.

But really, why would you want to use a LIKE brake rotor when for probably the same price you can get the RIGHT brake rotor ?
I fail to see how the issue could be bolt pattern when both cars are 4x100.

Did you know that unless you lived in Japan ONLY, the 3rd gen MR2 is called just that? An MR2?
I'm sure Napa carries rotors and lists parts for a 1999 SW20 MR2. Not to mention in his original post, he said "99+ MR2."
Are you serious right now?

Sorry, I used to work for a shop that had a 99 Gen2 from Japan as the shop car.
But calm your ****, my point is still valid. Why get a LIKE brake rotor when you can get the rotor.
Got it. 99+ means "Gen2." Makes sense.

And your point is exactly what was explicitly asked in OP to ignore. So i'm with OP. I'm pretty sure you didn't read.
I mean seriously 1mm shouldn't be enough of an issue if he's running MRS hubs.
