Default '92 sensor problem clt

Have this over on m.net as well, but seems to have died with no resolution. So maybe you ***** can help me.

CLT sensor unhooked, car idles fine cold/hot. Plugged back in, car stalls cold, idles fine hot. Replaced with a new one, same story. So it was suggested to check continuity. Setting at 200 ohm, power read .500, ground read infinity(1 . ). So I am lost here, do I need to replace the power wire? Ground wire? Burn the car?

Power wire to ECU has continuity. Ground wire to chassis ground has continuity. Either wire switched to each other does not show continuity. So my wires are fine. My question, with the ECT sensor unhooked, does it cause another sensor to not function properly?

You mean on the actual connector? I never thought of that, only because there is only one way that connector can go on. Once I get everything back together I will check it out.
