FYI, you can disable showing cat peen avatars on your options page:

Instead of making a new thread, this one seemed appropriate lol

It seems the sizes are 'ok' for fitting on the page.
I dislike that the .png images still show in white w/ border (see my current avatar).
Also, why such a small margin on size? Even some of the simple gifs I'd like to use will never be below the 29.3 KB
I'm not asking for a 1MB size, but a small bump would be nice.

No idea. I just did a Google Images search for "pixel hitler" which returned an animated GIF. I took a still-frame and trimmed out the background to make a transparent PNG.
That said, if a person wants an avatar which looks decent, it's up to them to size it properly. Any algorithm which automatically corrects one image during resize will **** up another.
Not many people knew it, but the Führer was a terrific dancer.

The sidebar gradient background image is missing, & post box bottom gradient background image. Not sure what else
