So my local forum is basically dead and i wanted to continue a build thread somewhere so here it is.
Just a little background on my car. Iv had it since January 09. it lived life as a street car for a few years and in the last couple of years its become a Friday car/track car.
Here is how it looked a few months into owning it.
T, what the heck happened to NCR? I moved and got super busy with house projects and by the time I got working on my track car again the forum was a ghost town. What gives?
Anyway, cool build. I didn't get a chance to say hi at Miatas at Laguna Seca. I'm going to try to get my MS2 in the car soon and get my turbo working properly so I can have fun at the track again.
I think most of the usual posters on NCR moved onto different platforms. id love to jump start it back up but its probably not going to happen. Ill be at laguna so, Stop by and say hi!
I haven't seen too many pictures of a Wilwood 1 inch master installed. This is the good-win kit and i wish i did it a long time. One of my favorite recent mods paired with torque rt-700 fluid its almost like im driving an air cooled Porsche
This kit would be better if it came with a different hose option so you can eliminate the extra fitting and line from the master to the prop valve.
Finally got around to cutting up some aluminum. ported roughly around the valve guide first, then put in the new guides and oversized seats.then a little more roughing. I know i am losing out on velocity with the big valves but then again this motor wont live below 4k or even 5k for that matter.
Iv been side tracked and have been working on an itbr setup for my car. not finished yet maybe next weekend ill have it setup and start messing with the tune.
got my itbs all setup and running. headed to the dyno Tuesday for the disappointment.
Also got my car on the scales after removing some "stuff" looks like front to rear ratio is better. This is with a half tank of gas without me. Time to find the last 44 lbs to remove.
Thanks for the pic of the Wilwood master. My kit from V8R came without any instructions, and even though it seemed pretty self-explanatory, I was scouring the internet for pictures of the lines so I didn't **** something up. The line exiting from the top of the tee is the one running down to the front left caliper, correct?
