ive got the 1.8 swapped into my 1.6 '93

theres some buttoning up to do, but a few questions...

1. all these small diameter coolant hoses, to throttle body and oil filter. can i delete all this? i left the one from front of coolant neck to the exhaust side so i can route it to the turbo

2. vics in the manifold.... i have the original vac lines and solonoid still there. i saw MSD part #8950, is the goal to just have them closed below 5000 rpm?

3. i read the 1.8 header with a 1.6 downpipe should fit. mine doesnt fit at all. the 1.8 downpipe is 4" or so too short and the 1.6 downpipe aims under the passenger seat. needed something to just run the car without the turbo for a couple weeks while i install ecu and such...

4. do i need the iac if im not running ac? my other 95 1.8 iac went bad, ive had it unplugged for months now with no issues. it just idles really low if ac is on
