Hey All,

im sorry if this has come up before, but i couldnt find anything on it and honestly dont even know what the part im about to ask about is called...

I just started my build to turbo my 95 Miata M edition, starting off im just doing a wideband and the MS2 to get my feet wet and understand what im doing with MS before i order a turbo.

Today my plan was to install both the wideband and MS2 but I ran out of time and was only about to get the wideband installed,

Before I left i took a look at the stock ecu and noticed there was a second "ecu looking thing" right beside the ecu, its about 1/2 the size of a ecu with a harness plugged into it as well..

My question is what is it? and will it cause me any issues when installing the MS2?

Like I said i ran out of time and could pull it to get a name or serial number off it to look up, the car is stored for the winter 2 hours away so i cant go back and take a look. Any of the prior research I have done there is no mention of it, and even a few youtube videos they dont have it.

This is my first time with MS or any tuner for that mater so i dont want to screw it up.

You wouldnt happen to have a picture of it would you? that might help in the "what is this" department

 

ABS control module or obd if i recall correctly, shouldn't be an issue
