1.8 99-00 non-vvt motor for supercharger?

1.8 99-00' non-vvt would this be the most ideal swap if i used 1.8 motor? From what i read the newer vvt has some issues forced induced?

BP4Ws have a lower compression ratio and dont have the added complexity of VVT
i dont think theres any difference in stock motors handling boost besides the cr though.

bp4w head flows much better than a bp05 head -- definitely the best motor to boost!
