A guy that just waxes his car and makes it look beautiful, but would never take it on track. I really don't have any issue with "waxers". I just like getting under 18PSI's skin.

I'm old so I'm tired of playing this childish game. I'll let him play with himself for awhile. Whoops!

Old is over 40. You're using 4th grade insults and grammar, it's not convincing.

I love how you make my foreskin feel when you get under it with your tongue ;)

You have an unusually strong interest in male on male action.

Tomiboy,
I have followed you and PM you over a couple years. You are one of the most helpful and cool guys to share Here we are in shark waters. I don't see SC guys trolling the turbo forums but we are guests in turbo website. I read this forum for years and we all understand the unusual adolescent mentality of 18PSI and Braineack Sometimes in life you tolerate the assholes to reach the normal people. Oh boy here comes you know who.

my97miata 12-02-2015 10:44 PM

I have two possible solutions for the turbo vs Rotrex war.
Option 1; remove your car's engine and use an electric motor like a Tesla.
Option 2; don't drive, walk or ride the city bus or a taxi.

Pick one.

RotrexMiata 12-02-2015 10:53 PM

How about no debate and let this be a supercharger discussion as the topic indicates? There are some insights from turbo guys that are constructive. Then comes the emotional morons.

aidandj 12-02-2015 10:58 PM

But...that's not fun. Arguing is.

RotrexMiata 12-02-2015 11:03 PM

Are we here to learn or trading insults? Never mind I got it, a waste of time here..... Have fun

There's an ignore list you can use here for people you can't tolerate all the time. It helps, I use it. Lot of smart people here but some I'd rather just ignore rather than argue with.

Dyno chart to stay on topic. :)

Nice power. But why does the DYNO end at 5800 rpm?

It's a Virtual Dyno chart, I was in 5th gear and ran out of road around 100mph. Now that it runs right, I need to get it on a real dyno. I think it would make a bit more power at redline since torque was still climbing at 5,800. :)

so much irony, it's truly amusing

What facts are those? Are we referring to the difference in torque and throttle response? Beat to death. Low RPM torque wins torque braked roll ons in street cars and of course that is the only thing that should matter to anybody!! :jerkit:

100% of the forum members that troll every mention of a Rotrex:

A) Do not have DPE (direct personal experience) with making a 250whp+ F/I Miata last on track for a 3hr weekend of track time without opening the hood

B) Have never driven a Rotrex on track

C) Work at McDonald's at the mall

That is the whole point of trolling. Its using false information to elicit a reaction from the rotrex users on here.

This isn't really wikipedia, were not all here to state facts 24/7. I enjoy the discussions and banter, and insults, and bannings. It makes for a fun environment :)

mgeoffriau 12-03-2015 05:44 PM

It's funny for a while. But when every single Rotrex thread can't make it half a page without a "but torque!" post, I imagine those who are actually trying to have a discussion might find it frustrating.

aidandj 12-03-2015 05:47 PM

As pat said, there is an ignore list. Or just skip over the posts. But one of the best parts about this community is that anything goes. There aren't any stupid rules, or closing threads. Everything stays open and somewhat transparent.

Are we all trolling.

Is the universe trolling us.

Turbo torque allow 18 psi to be fastest guy to park his car at a coffee shop, and be the first one sitting on his hood sipping a coffee talking about how fast his car is.

Parking lot torques > rotrex

Um you're the one whining about your broken trubo in a Rotrex thread. Why?

Entertainment? No.

None of the Rotrex owners are insecure enough to spend hours in turbo thread saying stuff like "manifold studs much?" "Boost lags!" "melted everythings!"

If you guys weren't so damned insecure and threatened by the idea of the Rotrex, we wouldn't be having this troll fest.

The vulgar language really helps to make your point though. Clearly you are righteous.

Why does pasting a video url with a specific time not embed at that specific time?

Not sure why it does that. We are updating the video embedding system and I will make sure they update to add that feature.

aidandj 12-04-2015 02:05 PM

coolthx

Back to the regularly scheduled bickering.

turbofan 12-04-2015 02:08 PM

:drama:

seriously though guys... Rotrex are great for track. This particular kit is coming from a company called Track Dog Racing. I don't think anyone argues with the fact that a turbo makes a more-fun street car, and that it's easier to make a rotrex reliable on track than a turbo.

I have a turbo track car. I sure as hell wouldn't have built it this way if I had been buying all the parts myself.

Braineack 12-04-2015 02:11 PM

have you seen the shit we've given reverant for the 700,000hp 1.6L?

jmann 12-04-2015 02:32 PM

Couldn't agree more ^, especially since it is in a supercharger forum, if you ain't a fan stay out.

hello TDR, I'm looking into supercharging my automatic NC. your kits seems to be nicely put together, but website does not mention one for NC specifically. If I plan on going rotrex with standalone ECU and full retune, can I use mounting and piping from your kit?

How would a Rotrex and a coldside double charger system work? Might be a sick build if you could keep the engine in one piece. If you can twin turbo, who not a twin supercharger system?

big turbo means more lag thus some ppl go for 2 smaller ones.

big rotrex is as fast to spool as smaller ones so there isn't a reason to run 2 smaller ones ..

are there any benefits going to the bigger C38s? and are they fit with the current Kit?

Chilicharger665 06-19-2016 03:30 AM

This TDR kit only fits NAs and NBs. The NC is completely different. Once again, contact Flyin Miata, MotoEast, or Dynotronics for NC rotrex stuff.

There is plans down the road for a NC kit but don't expect anything anytime soon.

You'd have to ask Gary. He developed the kit. You can email him gary@trackdogracing.com.
