Default 6 speed - cracking in tailshaft housing?

Just took delivery of an eBay special - 96000km 6 speed. On delivery, a few alarm bells have been set off.

One is what seems to be stress or fatigue cracking in the tail shaft extension housing. Anyone seen this before? Is it just casting imperfections?

I will take a look at mine tomorrow but i think that what you see are part of the casting process, i dont think that they are stress fractures

Casting crack marks, not stress cracks.

Just surface cracking from when the aluminum was cooling during the casting process. The outside surface cools faster than the inside and it cracks some as the inside cools.
