Air ride on a miata?
Not being a cocksucking hardparker and taking away the 1 singlehandedly greatest thing about this car.
Then you are a cocksmoking little CR.net queer and don't belong on this site.
We should have a filter for people like this:
Pre-requisite question for joining MT: "Is your other car a slammed VW?"
If answer is "yes" automatic re-direct to clubricer.net

If you slam a Miata, you ruin the suspension. Don't ruin your suspension. Or, if you must, don't do it in our presence.
Why are you asking for advice if you've already made up your mind and don't want to listen? Nobody here is going to affirm your desire to slam a perfectly good Miata.

This may be an indication of something.
In an ideal world, I'd like to eat pork ribs and Oreo milkshakes every day and not gain weight.
Some concepts are, unfortunately, not compatible.
The Miata suffers from a lack of suspension travel even in stock form, and the '90-'97 models are worse in this regard than the '99+ models. Lowering the car, even just a little bit, reduces the suspension travel even further.
Now, it's entirely possible to have a non-shitty ride in a Miata which is slightly lower than stock. You'll want either upper shock mounts which increase the amount of available travel (eg: FatCat, ISC) or shock bodes which are significantly shorter than stock. Pair this with adjustable spring perches, a set of springs in the general neighborhood of 400 lbs/in front, 300 lbs/in rear, and a set of dampers which are valved to match.

And yet you publicly decree that you will be ignoring my advice and teabagging your car in order to spite everyone.
Just so we're clear, I have been making fun of you behind your back this whole time. At this point, I think we've pretty much validated your birth mother's decision to abandon you on a doorstep.

1. I warned you that you'd be ridiculed if you didn't persist. You ignored this and have been ridiculed.
2. I provided a link proving that the air bags have been installed on another miata before
3. I suggested an alternate site where you could ask questions about putting air bags on your miata
4. I'm a dead ringer for Luke on Friday Night Lights. A cowboy who plays football.
5. I lived in DC where drivers dream of the smooth roads of Baghdad. I had a one hour commute in and out of the city. It was lowered.
