Default Differential torque specs

How tight should the diff pumpkin be attached to the aluminum carrier on a 1.8 rear end? Just snug?

Thanks

1. apply sealant to the housing face
2. tighten the bolts

13-19 ft/lbs.

I just posted in your thread on CR.net. My '95 FSM says 17-19 ft/lbs, but you get the general idea.

I tightened it to 25ft/lbs according to some old *** book my dad had. probably woulda been smarter to check for exact specs on here, but whats done is done. holds good too, no leaks and none of the bolts / threads broke
