Anyone know a good place to get these, sizes, etc or have the tool for loan? I mangled a few brake lines doing the swap and would like to make custom lines that run further away from the pax side header.
I've seen the cheapy tools at harbor freight but not sure if they'd work properly.
Thanks,
Frank

I used a double flaring tool i picked up from Farifax Auto Parts. I did one flare and i seemed to have done a bad job, about 2 months later it failed. When I looked at it again I could see the flare wasn't perfectly centered.
Ive repaired several (northern rust Buckets) with the HF flair kit. Its not the best best tool but for doing small jobs it works fine. Like mentioned. take time and be sure your fittings are straight and square.
the difference between 3/16" and m4 is very small. I dunno I had flared a stock 4mm line and put a 3/16" nut on it to fit my Wilwood prop valve. Beyond that I can't tell you much more.
