Default clutch hydraulics in an engine swap application

So, i think we have a problem, Huston.

Setup is a 1999 miata clutch master with a gm slave from a t56. Its one of the hydraulic throwout bearing type slaves.

Braided line between the two.

We're reasonably certain that the hydraulics are good, and the slave is spaced properly.

Im thinking that the stock clutch master is the issue. Flying miata uses a 7/8 v8 roadster clutch master kit in their ls swap cars, which this shares the slave with.

Which means that i need to find a 7/8 Clutch master, and it fixes it, right?

Is there anything else to look at/check?

Clutch master is adjusted now for maximum stroke, and ive run about a quart of fluid through via 2 man bleed, gravity bleed, and reverse bleeding....

Yes, the bore/fluid volume of the master will need to be properly matched to the slave. Not sure what you were aiming for with colored text but it has not worked.
