Clutch/Pressure Plate Updating
It's been a while since I've posted much on here. I can blame Subaru for that.. Damn AWD and such.
After putting up with an open rear for long enough, I finally found a 6spd/3.9 setup to replace my 5spd/open 4.1 std equipment. While I have the trans and diff out I'd like to replace the things that make sense at this time (pilot & throw out bearings / trans seals / diff bushing, etc.)
Here is my quandary, I currently have an ACT HD clutch and PP installed. Probably has 25k miles on it if I was a guessing man. In my pursuit of correcting/updating the setup should I:
1: Leave it be. Its making 240whp and not giving me any fits
2: Replace the disk with something that has more holding power if I get the itch to turn up the boost or run E85 at some point. (which is likely)
3: Just replace the whole damn thing with a new clutch/pp (ACT/SuperMiata/etc.)
I will likely be adding a lightweight flywheel as this will (fingers crossed) just be a weekend fun car for track and autox. Long term, I would love to make an Exocet out of it.
Thanks,
Michael

I guess this one fell through the cracks..
Anywho, I ended up getting a 6-puck ACT from the Amazons and leaving the flywheel be for the moment.
Hopefully some install pics to post in the coming weeks.
