Corrado Rotors
Almost time to bring the ride out of the garage again in NE. I have a '94 that I bought the M Tuned adapters to use Corrado rotors on front and sport rotors on rear and plan to install soon. I notice the front kit is no longer marketed. Was there a technical reason for that? This will be high performance street with a FMII with MS in the future, so killer brakes probably aren't a necessity, but nice to have. Hell, who even touches the brakes on off ramps? Anyways, can the Corrado rotors be utilized with any other aftermarket brake kit calipers? I do have a complete set of sport brake and wonder if I should just put them on instead. Stoptech pads, steel brake lines and fluid flush would be used in either case.
I don't think sport brakes work with the carrado kit.
I read something that emilio wrong a few years ago saying that corrado rotors were 5.5 lbs heavier per corner than the stockers.

Give me a week or two and I will be able to comment how they work. I just put the M-tuned front kit on with Stoptech Sport pads and will be doing the rear once eveything else on the car is together. Did the front already cause I had to change a caliper anyway.

I made sure to clean up the brake dust before the wife gets home :-))
I bought a set of Stoptech slotted rotors and just weighed them against the stock sport brake rotors. Both weigh in at 12.8 lbs. It is a Weight Watcher's bathroom scale, so maybe they're actually heavier :-)
