Excellent question. How much torque was this?

I think it's important to be ready for when corky finishes the T5 conversion kit.

Then start this discussion again in 20 years? It will require a custom clutch anyways.

ROFL. I love Corky, but thinking the T5 conversion kit will ever be finished and out on the market is just silly. I think TSE will have their new trans setup out well before Corky does, and I honestly don't see TSE having theirs done and ready to sell to customers any time soon.

I was joking guys.

I found a post where Corky described the remaining work on the kit as "a piece of cake." It was from 2011.

I don't think Eric would want me to say anything except for "a lot." Eric's car has a much better powerband than any other 4-cylinder Miata I've worked on.

I've used ACT XT pressure plates in other cars. I have also feared I messed up a hydraulic overhaul in my Miata because the pedal is so light. FM1, though.

I have a XT 1.6 pp with a street disc on my vvt swap and it is heavier than my uncles FM2. I like it, I just wouldn't want to daily it. I also go through a slave cylinder every year or 2, but those are $7 from my distributor so not a big deal.

BTW, I went with FM level 2.

Installed everything a bit over a week ago and then spent a week looking for transmission bolts that were hiding in a plastic bag on a shelf the whole time. And I'm still missing the big one with the nut just below the starter. Annoying.

I did manage to clean the garage in the process of trying to find the bolts.
