I know this post is a bit old but I thought I would see if there is any update. I just got a set of FC calipers, miata 1.8 rotors, and corrado rotors. Once my car is done getting tuned at The Shop I plan on trying to get these to work also. From what I can see with my handy dandy calipers the corrado rotors have a shorter top hat 17.2mm then the miata 1.8's 25mm. With this said if you use the corrado rotors mounting the calipers should be easier but now you end up needing a bigger wheel spacer. Something like a 20mm spacer would be needed to use the corrado rotors. Also my corrado rotors are vented so im not sure how you came to find they are not vented.

Turns out its fairly easy to adapt these to the 323 GTX so thats what i'm going to do with my FC calipers.

Nice and why in the world would mazda use smaller rotors on the gtx then the miata. That's strange in my book.
ADDED Well if you don't mind I was thinking of posting what I find with these calipers and corrado rotors here seeing as you got this thread started. |

There is a local race car built by Specialty Engineering here in Vancouver that runs FC calipers on their turbo NA. I didn't take a look at the bracket when I saw the car, but they did shave the face of the caliper down quite a bit to allow for wheel clearance. I.E. it dosen't say Mazda on it any longer and you can see where it was shaved down.

http://www.clubprotege.com/forum/att...1&d=1235267661 For rigidity purposes, a 3rd bolt needs to be added to triangulate the lower mount. |
