Trying to replace brakes and rotors today. Rotors were rusted to all hell. My bfh cracked the rotor off the hub. So now the hub is stuck on still and the rotor is separated from it. How the hell do I get it off now?

 

Heat and beat.

 

What about the threaded hole on the top of the rotor? You should be able to break em loose that way.

 

The easy answer is to buy a new hub.

Managed to get it off with a pry bar and more hammering!

 

What condition do you think your bearings are in after that beating session? Get new hubs!
