HELP! SPEC clutch install- Destroying release bearings
#22
SPEC quality control seems to be superb. For every 1 SPEC clutch in good working order, there are at least 5 that are fucked up. Hell, that's probably a conservative estimate.
The FM1 clutch will definitely be my next purchase.
And I can now remove my transmission in record time... practice makes perfect, unfortunately. Or maybe it's plenty of liquid motivation

All I heard was bad things about spec... and they're a local company too. Can't wait to pass by the owner in his blue 240 with a Competition Clutch sticker.
I've talked with the guy a couple times, but wasn't dick enough to tell him his products suck and if it weren't for flashy ads in drift magazines, he'd have no business at all
FWIW, I never had an issue with my Exedy 3puck and ACT pro-lite combo - and I beat the hell out of it too.

I love my ACT XT with organic disk, no chatter, pedal is pretty heavy but still fine for a DD.
I'd probably go FM now days, but it wasn't available when i bought my ACT.
My buddy put a SPEC in his subaru.. it completely came apart within 5,000 miles or so. This was on a stock td04.
