Flying Miata springs are pretty good if you are retaining the OEM Spring Mount, I helped install a set of flying miata springs w/ MSM Bilsteins + Flying Miata Bumpstops on a 93. The ride is a bit more bouncy than mine but body roll is minimal and it is very comfortable.

That's the MSM shocks. Much steeper low speed compression nose than HD's or even Sport Package Bilsteins. The MSM Bilsteins remind me of the stock shocks on the FR-S in our shop. Too stiff to ride well on street, not enough blow off to handle big bumps on track. Worst of both worlds.

Unfortunately new suspension isn't quite in the cards at the moment, as I've just dropped a bunch of money on a turbo setup. Good news though, is that I've toyed around a bit more with my current setup up, and I've been able to make it a bit more tolerable. More ride height + 2 clicks up on the damper.

Interesting, when you start reading the Bilstein coilover thread in the first few pages you get the impression that the MSM were the first choice over the others. Apparently not. Of the shocks listed, how would you rank their off the shelf valving in relation to occasional track use primary, and then street use secondary?
