Default Question about 1.8 oem flywheel

I bought the FM happy meal clutch kit for my 1.6 but I need a 1.8 flywheel to make it work and I can't find it online or at any auto parts stores anywhere. Does anybody know where they sell them or will I just have to pull one from the junkyard?

Junk yard is a decent source, I saw a guy with a couple on eBay a while back. Mazda has them too. I have a 16# or so one I don't want anymore, not OEM.

Post in the WTB section, I'm sure people have stock 1.8 flywheels who upgraded theirs.

This. I'd help op out but i threw 3 in the trash when i moved. Seemed easier than moving them and selling for scrap value later.

I have one (soon to be two), what is your location, i don't know if it'd be worthwhile to mail it, it weighs a bit...

Pull as in a u pull it yourself yard like lkq?

I would gladly pay shipping + small cost for flywheel than spend all day at a junk yard pulling off a transmission on a junk car.

I was about to say. I have a stock 1.8 flywheel sitting on my shelf for $10 plus shipping it is yours. Let me see if I have a box I can use.

Might even fit in a flat rate box.

Let me know if OP doesn't want it, I be interested if shipping isn't abysmal

For some reason I didn’t get notified that I was quoted. Will investigate cost of shipping.

It should—the $20 large flat rate boxes are 12x12x5.5 inches. The 1.8 ring gear OD is said to be 11.4 inches, so wrapping a couple layers of cardboard around the teeth (so the teeth don't chew their way out of the box) should still fit.
