I'd kill all of you for a 949 twin disc. I'd kill several of you or wound all of you for a FM II clutch. This puck-style spec clutch sucks my *** on engagement and certainly makes my transmission bits sad.

IMHO puck clutches are basically pointless on any of the cars in this thread. Outside drifting or a lot of drag racing, now way a sub 300WHP, sub 2500 LB car needs one.

When I do get a clutch its going to be an ACT 2600LB pressure plate on a run of the mill organic disk. It worked on a 3000LB 300WHP AWD car for drag, it will work on a Miata. Light pedal effort for anyone with even a single functioning ********, smooth enagagement. Cheap.

Think a 1.6L clutch can hold fine at 130 or 140 ft/lbs to the wheels?

Yeah 1.6 clutches are fine at that range. Mine held up to some absolute rape at 160ish for 3 years and is just now starting to give a little.
