Default Should the driveshaft turn in Neutral?

Just swapped from a FM I clutch and PP to a SuperMiata Sport clutch setup. Car's on a lift getting bugs shaken out.

When the car is idling in Neutral on the lift, the rear wheels turn, but can be easily stopped by hand. When I push the clutch pedal in, the wheels stop turning.

Is this normal?
  • New clutch & pressure plate
  • Bled the clutch
  • Readjusted clutch pedal
  • Cleaned up the transmission with new seals and greased everything up.

Yes, totally normal. Just drag in the bearings transmitting engine rotation via friction instead of gear teeth.

If the wheels stop with the clutch in, that means any bearing drag transmitting engine rotation is coming from the TOB, not the PB. Seems no bueno for a brand new TOB to be doing that, no?
