Just go spend a week or two with the car. You will get used to it pretty quickly. dropping caster would help some.

If you need both of your arms to turn the wheel at anything over a walking pace, then something is wrong.

How hard is it to turn the wheel with both front tires off the ground? It should take nearly zero effort. If not, then the problem is in your rack. If it is super easy then the problem is with your arms and reducing caster from 4.5 to 3.5 would help.

I turn the wheel with one hand.

While outside using the other hand to push the car around the garage.

I started with a looped line rack then went to welded pinion and gutted rack. No real difference in effort but the welded pinion was a great change. Nice tight feel without any slop.

If you have ridiculous camber or zero offset tires or any other stupid modifications it can make it much worse.

Mine was 5.2 and was reduced to 4.5 after I looped the lines and it is fine to drive, even with 15x8 6uls and 225s. When I bled the rack I grabbed the tire and slammed the steering angle from left lock to right lock as quickly as I could to get every bit of the fluid I could out of it. I couldn't have spun the steering wheel that fast.

What are the rest of your alignment settings and wheel and tire offset?

No way you should be having an issue. Something is wrong. Actually, wait, that's a 32mm offset? That's like 1.25". That can't be right?! You have 5.75" outer wheel width and 1.25" inner wheel width measures from the mounting surface? If that is really the case, I think we've identified the issue.

Your math is off.

That's not a strange wheel spec at all.

Hah, I had back spacing in my head instead of offset.

i performed a proper depower over the winter, piston removed, welded pinion, etc. was a bit startled at the effort at low and medium speeds. checked my old alignment specs, caster was over 5

had my car re-aligned this past week, changed caster to a more reasonable 3.5, made a HUGE difference. much happier now.

notice the homemade jb-weld plugged hardline fittings - couldn't justify buying that entire set of plugs. i bought the pair of larger ones though, and only one was the right size.
