How much more do these weigh per wheel than your box mount 11's with light weight rotors?

 

Haven't made that comparison but the BX1175 are going to be significantly heavier than the BX11. Caliper is about twice the size and the rotor has about 40% more thermal mass. When designing the BX1175, weight was not much of a consideration.

Curious though, why do you ask?

I just ordered your BX11's and lightweight rotors for an Exocet. 300whp with an LFX on E85. Car weighs right around 1700 lbs and has Xidas, RB swaybar up front and AR1's in 275 width all around. Weight is a big factor for me on this car. Curious if you think I should be running the 11's or 11.75's. I have the FM little big brake kit on the car currently with the Wilwood rears (has a parking brake) and was planning on keeping the rears. I'm fine paying more to upgrade, was just thinking it would be nice to save some weight if possible.

 

The BX11 will stop that just fine, but you'll be going through pads with that kind of power and grip on track. Sounds like you have room for the BX1175, and the huge pads will last much longer.

BX1175 for that build.

We just updated the template on our site. It's a vector file so those of you with 3D printers and the ability to draw in CAD can turn it into a physical part. We'll be uploading an STL file so folks can print a part without needing to draw anything. We'll also have a loaner wheel clearance tool that we can ship out.

We're updating the confirmed wheel list as we can get our hands on other brands of 15x9 and 15x9.5. Visit our website for the latest wheel clearance info.

 

Is there a wheel list, or only the template at this point? I have hunted through the pages a few times, and don't see a list of wheels that have been checked for clearance.

 

Only confirmed wheel is the 15x10 6UL. We'll add wheels as we can get them here to test.

The template is accurate. If you have a printer (paper) and a pair of scissors, you can check your wheel.

 

Great news, @The Australian , the 15x9 Dekagram fits with no spacers needed.

We are gathering more wheels to test fit for those that don't want to use the brake template.

Since the 15x9 Dekagram fits without a spacer, we expect this to clear ALL long-spoke design Advanti and Konig (Storm S1 & S2, Helix, Dial In) and Jongbloeds too. Might even clear those same wheels in the 15x8 +25 - we think it will. 15x9 Countergram and Hexaform, maybe.

EDIT: Since this post, we tested a 15x9 Storm S1 and it will require 8mm of spacer to clear. I won't keep updating this, so check the product page for the most up-to-date list.

You can order a physical 3D printed buck in the shape of the brake to put in your wheel for fit check. Send it back and we refund the cost of the tool. You can also use the template on the product page to create your own tool if you have a 3D printer at home.
