Default Tein Flex NA settings...

I know I will need to spend some time fine tuning this suspension this summer, which is fine because I get time off. But is there some shock length and ride height settings I can start with so I can bolt them on this weekend in between house/kids/visiting hospital?

The car serves street/track/drag racing duty. I only want a 3/4 drop and as much suspension travel as possible. I am a suspension idiot but I hope to learn with experience, like I did with that turbo stuff. (I don't want any lowering compromises because my street and driveway are terrible and I am tired of going two mph to try and get in the garage with my other car.)

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Read this thread. Actually, read the posts on setup from Jason C SBB and ignore most of the others. I set mine up the way he did, got a mild drop, great ride, off the stops, good droop and travel.

Tein Flex: Rough Ride - MX-5 Miata Forum

I DD full soft front and rear, auto-x full hard front, 2-4 clicks down on the rear with no rear sway. I DD with no rear sway, either. FM front bar in the stiff hole, 7K/5K springs.

Y8s and Brain set up mine when I had them, the same way that jason describes in those posts. I kept them in the middle clickswise with 9k/6k springs. Drove great.

Re-reading Ben's post made a lot more sense now. Must be my meds kicking in.
