Torsen: A Love Story. Is this the end? (It was the bearing)
So I am getting poping/clunking under initial acell and decell as well as left turns. Pretty sure it is shot
Factory Torsen. I put the ebrake up and I put it in reverse and I can twist the rear wheel slightly. Like there is a little play. Tonight I'm going to look at the axles.
Seriously and the e brake is super tight. It will lock up the rear if I pull it.
That's why I'm posting vids cause if I just said it yall would think I was crazy

The bearing was separated. I didn't even need a press to get it out I could use a flat top and I tapped the bearing out.

Sorry I was posting from my phone and the mobile app was giving me issues. Also the hub has absolutely no cracks and is not warped. I will replace it anyway though
The bearing was still together but the inner sections were separated separated. What do y'all think about the diff slack? I have a feeling I will have to measure the backlash if that could be avoided that would be great. I hate pulling the diff
EDIT: Would this be considered a valid guide for me to correct the backlash? This seems like and easy solution as long as nothing in the diff is severely damaged

Does the pinion have some sort of support in the case (i.e. bushing/bearing) that could be worn enough to cause excessive backlash or other movement? I've never torn into one, so I don't have any idea.
