Clutch issue?
Hello! This is my first post here, so please guide me if I have misunderstood anything about this forum.
Last year I replaced my clutch on my 92 1.6 as the last one started slipping. After installing it, I didn't think much of it and it felt fine.
Fast forward to this year, when I test drove my brother's 92 and realized something was very off with mine. My clutch seems to engage almost all the way at the top point. I don't have more than maybe a couple centimeters from the engagement point until I'm all the way out. I don't know if the car has been like this since I installed the clutch; I don't think it's due to wear on the clutch, as I think it's always been like this.
My question is, what could lead to this? I have tried adjusting the pushrod, which made it feel better, but now the total clutch pedal movement is 1/3 of what it used to be, and I would think that is very wrong.
