I like the seats. Not so much on the hood pins. I do like the duct. Are the seats yellow?

Are you referring to my ultra-stylish, one of a kind, super-special, limited release hood which not only looks phenomenal but also adds function which increases the cooling capacity of my heat exchangers, further proving that my car is truly superior to all which came before it in aesthetics, performance, value, and uniqueness?

Install a 6-speed.
We don't really know how strong 6-speeds are. We haven't been able to break enough of them yet to get any measurable data. There are many 6-speeds on this board which have sustained duty in applications well over 300WHP.

More importantly why is the transmission the deciding factor on the car?
Reecers it isn't that we hate drifters on this site, it is we hate idiots and most drifters fall under the idiot category. There are a few drifters who have been on here and hold their own, Turns101, rappadan, and a few others. They last because they know English, and they know what they are doing on a car. They do no start their first threads asking questions that have been answered a million other times, they also use correct English. So if you are serious about using a Miata for drifting we can be supportive, just don't be a dumbass.

If my transmission breaks, I'm quitting too.

PM for trade. I have tan in both of my cars. I hope you like stains because the interior in my green car looks worse than some work trucks from my construction years. I flooded the driver's side with anti-freeze once, spilled a quart of Mobile 1 on the passenger side, and the dash is peeling. The car is fast though, lol.
I wish I knew how to quit you.

I plan on drifting and drag[racing]. I have a friend with an 06 civic Si with boost in mine. My plan is to be use WI boosted on my Miata. I like to get sideways more then drive straight. I read have been reading and I feel I have everything figured out except the for transmission. I also don't want to spend 3 grand on Quaife.
Sell it and get a 240.

That's a matter of opinion.
I'm locking this thread, and moving it to a more appropriate forum. You received some good information among the bull ****, and I think you can make a good decision based on that information. There are plenty of people with street driven, turbo charged Miatas, that have broken transmissions. Definitely NOT exclusive to race driven Miatas.
I also would like to say that I don't believe you're doing quite enough searching and/or browsing. The build thread section and dyno section are great places to start looking at power levels vs. broken transmissions.
Let's just be clear for future posters: The race prep forum is more for cars that are already being prepped or are prepped for racing. Not people, like the OP, who are only considering prepping their car.
I also would like to apologize for not cleaning this thread up earlier, I woke up at 5pm after working all night.
