Default Torsen Experts, Please!

Based on my research I believe this is a Torsen LSD, but I'd like one of you experts to confirm for me. One thing that it dosn't have is those helical gears that are referred to on the second pic from this link: http://www.miata.net/garage/diffguide/index.html . But that pic is referring to a 94' - 95' and this one is from a 97'. Thanks

from this picture

Since there is no "bar" that obstructs your view here, this is indeed a torsen.

bar = open
no bar = torsen

Hold on though. This is would have to be a type II, because they stopped making type I in 96' and went with type II's going forward. If you scroll down in this link: http://www.miata.net/garage/diffguide/index.html till it shows type II pics, mine looks nothing like them. It says the type II should look like the below pic in the axle holes.
