Your 6 speeds
My GF's MSM is sometimes difficult...but all that is needed to do is to hold it into reverse and slowly roll off the clutch...the guts will turn, everything will align and it will sink right in. Mine does it sometimes, but most the time it's easy.
Just do what Sav says. Neutral, let off clutch then clutch in and put it in reverse. Seems a lot of man trans do this. My FXT did it. My step daughters Mazda 3 did it.
Just spin the **** in neutral to align it. Almost always works the first time for me.

I'm around 4 different 6-speeds and they don't slide in perfectly but they are all livable.
If you're too dumb to bargain, then you desrve paying $600. I wouldn't pay more than $500 for a 6-speed especially if the seller tells you the reverse gear doesn't work.

FYI hustler, reverse works, it just has the same problem most of you guys are talking about.
