1. I abhor crybaby Alonso, but when he wins I still respect him.
2. When Massa wins I get all warm and fuzzy because he's been treated poorly by everyone and Alonso crashed so Massa got to win.
Which one do you respect more? The obedient driver or the champion?

I don't doubt for a second that Vettel, Alonso, and Hamilton are faster on average, but I have much more respect for the other guys.
I cheer so hard for Massa. Seeing him out-qualify Alonso the last four races warms my soul.
Sh*t, I cheered so effing hard for Barichello in '09 when he and Button were fighting for the WDC at Brawn. Ole Rubens broke my little heart...

I respect professionalism, consistence, precision and discipline. That makes Webber my favorite driver . . . by quite a bit.
But, it's racing. The point of racing is winning. Vettel wins.
I loved 2010, when Webber was winning (until the last race!). That was before DRS. Hmmmm . . . .

Vettel seems to have the killer instinct, the all selfish desire and need to win no matter what. My problem is this, he apologised for it. He said he was really sorry and that if he could go back he wouldn't do it. Either he has the killer instinct and he makes it known to the world, that he won't stay behind a car if he's faster, or he doesn't have it. But apologising for it, feeling sorry for it, pretending like he just made some mental mistake, that I have issue with. Man up, tell the team and the world that you are going to go for the gap if it's there.
That said, I wonder why Mark didn't just "eff it" and turn his engine back up to full wick when he saw Vettel was coming for him? If Mark had the same killer instinct it seems he would have done more to protect the position. Sure he pushed him to the wall and went wheel to wheel with Vettel for 3 more corners, but why didn't he turn his engine back up and make it a straight fight?

I'd really like to see him pull it out this year, retire from F1 and then get to go back to Le Mans and redeem himself.
Oh and I'm not watching the NBC feed, we haven't had cable for 3+ years.
RFM is where I get my torrents. I much prefer the English coverage, yeah the dopes on Speed are occasionally funny, but I prefer coverage from guys that have, you know, actually owned/raced F1 cars and especially within the last 20 years (Coulthard, Jordan, Brundle).
If Webber can't do it, I'm pulling for dibit dibitbit (Kimi) to get it done this year.
