Default $30 craigslist wheel find. Applications?

Found some 13 inch wheels on craigslist two nights ago for $30. Figured "hey.... $30 bucks for wheels with our 4x100 bolt pattern, can't really lose."

The owner purchased them in the early 90s, but couldn't remember anything about them. Had removed them years ago and left them in his barn. Dude had like 6 old VWs chillen.

They seem light with some 205/60s mounted on them, but I can't wait to dismount the tires and check with my scale. Backspacing was measured at +24. I tried to measure the width, but it is hard to know for sure until the tires are off. I believe they are 6.5 or 7 inches wide, as they are a bit more than 7 inches wide from inner to outer lip (on the outside).

Anyways, not too many posts on the forum about 13inch wheels. Is it common or practical for an NA owner to use wheels like these? They look like drag or slot style wheels. Should I keep them as a miata part for use, trade, or sell.... or would it not really work for the application?

Took some pics... Thoughts?

Laid them against my stock NB... not mounted.

I thought this said 'IT IS common or practical...'

Yeah, Nas, or NBs with a little grinding.

Could make a nice mildly aggressive wheel for NA track use maybe? I like the style, looks somewhat like Alcoa wheels.

They do look super beefy, could be even like drag wheels, with about the same size tire on the back and a little bit smaller on the front. To be honest of it were me, I'd run the rims just so I could tell people I got them for 30$ off craigslist lol... Dont you love craigslist finds? a couple weeks ago I got an na tranny and intake for 45 bucks with 80k on em

1. Sell the on cr.net
2.????
3. Profit

Okay maybe number two is unnecesary or is obvious but Im sure those guys would buy them and make them fit, you could sell them factory dodge truck 20x9s and some guy would figure out how to make them fit with a 135 tire and 9* of neg camber
