ok great, thanks for the clarification on that stuff Emilio. One last question and the one really brought up by the m.net thread...205 on 8" or 225 on 8"? I am just trying to figure out if there is ever a time where you want less width tire on the same width wheel.

205's are fastest on 8's, 225 are fastest on 9's.

Regardless of wheel, car or tire, any DOT radial will perform best on a wheel about the same width as the casing (not the tread).

I think I get a larger picture here...I should be picking my tire first, then the wheel width for it, rather than picking the wheel and a tire that fits it...
