As an update, I ended up buying Flevas last year. Conti ECS would've cost nearly 50% more and I was laid off at the time, so I went for the cheaper option. 195-15-50 on my 7" wheels.

Flevas are comfortable, predictable, and roll quiet. They squeal and howl when pushed, which was a surprise after my Comp2s, which allowed stealth sliding. The upside is that it's far easier to gauge impending wheel lockup. They grip well in the dry, though probably less than the Comp2 when they were new. They're more predictable in how they let go, and they give a smoother ride. I have little time with them in the wet, but they seem decent. For a summer-driven street car they suit me nicely.
